On The Move Detailing – Service Terms & Conditions

Welcome to On The Move Detailing! By booking our mobile detailing services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Authorization

By booking, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or have full authority to authorize services. You grant On The Move Detailing permission to inspect, clean, wash, and detail your vehicle at the agreed location.

Private Property Requirement:
All services must be performed on private property. You confirm that you have permission to allow detailing at the location and that the Company is not liable for any disputes arising from unauthorized access.

Mobile Travel Fee:
Services performed beyond a 25-mile radius from our base location are subject to a $50 travel fee, which will be added to your service total.

2. Pricing & Service Adjustments
   •    Pricing is vehicle-specific and may change based on size, condition, or unusual circumstances (excess dirt, pet hair, stains, odors, etc.).
   •    Stain removal is performed to the best of our ability, but complete removal is not guaranteed.
   •    The Company reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe or misrepresented.

3. Deposit & Payment
   •    A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to schedule services.
   •    Remaining balance is due upon completion.
   •    By booking, you authorize us to charge your card for both deposit and final payment.
   •    Unauthorized chargebacks constitute a breach of agreement, and you may be responsible for fees or collection costs.

4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
   •    Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will forfeit the deposit.
   •    No-shows result in forfeiture of the deposit.
   •    Deposits are non-refundable.

5. Right to Refuse or Stop Service

We may refuse, cancel, or stop service for:
   •    Unsafe working conditions
   •    Aggressive or inappropriate behavior
   •    Misrepresentation of vehicle condition
   •    Hazardous materials
   •    Weather or environmental concerns

Payment remains due for any work already completed.

6. Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage such as scratches, dents, clear coat issues, or interior wear. Cleaning may make such conditions more visible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not responsible for:
   •    Paint failure or deterioration
   •    Mechanical or electrical issues not caused by us
   •    Items left inside the vehicle

8. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:
   •    Provide safe access on private property
   •    Remove valuables and personal items
   •    Secure pets and ensure no hazardous materials are in the vehicle

9. Weather & Service Conditions

Mobile detailing is weather-dependent. We may reschedule due to rain, extreme heat/cold, or unsafe conditions without penalty.

10. Photos & Marketing

You grant permission for photos or videos for documentation and marketing. Personal info and license plates will not be publicly shared.

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless On The Move Detailing for claims or damages arising from our services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of New Jersey.

13. Agreement Acceptance

By booking or signing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms.
